very bad business, just a bunch of thieves lairs, they don't know nothing a bout transmission business

I have a 15 year-old Honda Accord. I had my transmission rebuilt there in October with a 12,000 mile warranty. The warranty was over by 2,400 miles and a check engine light came on. It was the transmission. I fault them for no part of this. I brought it back in to have them look at it and they told me about all of the breaks and discounts they would give me for being a repeat customer, but that since it was out of warranty, it wouldn't be covered. Again, perfectly fair on their part. Then I got the estimate. This rebuilt transmission would require another rebuild, but the solenoids/sensors that had caused the check engine light to come on were conveniently not on the estimate. So for an estimate of $1300 after a rebuild 8 months before for $1900, where I had the torque converter replaced, I would have to put in another torque converter and whatever else they were going to do. Fair? Honest? Perhaps it was totally legit. But I decided against going forward with it. That's when the fireworks began. On the phone, "Steve" (the manager) was highly insulted that I would be picking up my car. He tried cajoling, intimidating and talking down to me to get me to have them do the work. I stated that I still wanted to pick it up, at which point he said "It's the end of the week, I'm tired and I have no obligation to be nice to customers." And then another 10 minutes of hearing him tell me how much he knows about things and hearing him get more and more irate while I continued to listen. I went and picked it up. The assistant in the shop I talked to was nice. Do not ever use this shop.

He kept me up to date on each step in the process of repairing the transmission in my 1995 Chevy truck. I recommend and have recommended the service hear and I will return. Thanks Luis

I repair my 2008 mini copper with Mr transmission they give me 3 years warranty the car runs perfect John the /manager is an excellent person he deliver the car in time the price was fair i highly recommend them i had a good experience

I had my transmission rebuilt last year and I most say they did a fantastic job. The mechanics and store manager are well knowledgeable and respectful. I apologize for anyone that didn't have a good report. I pray this doesn't happen to you or anyone again. BlackBeautyTai

In 2010 i took a chevy impala to get a complete trans. overhual. The work was done quick and clean. Just wanted to say this shop is a great place to get a transmission redone. As an tech. myself i can honestly recommend mr. transmission on jones rd.

beware and make sure you go with them if they have your car towed and make sure they take it to where you called. the Spring location is not a member of the BBB and that's where they try to rip you off. They are nothing but crooks and make sure you have them sign off on anything that you have them do. Also ask the if there will be a charge before they start. There listing says free estimate but if they break your vehicle down they will charge you and thats when the bait and trap begins. The best thing is to avoid them totally.

My ten year old Ford Explorer has over 165,000 miles on it. My transmission was in great need of repair. I met with the owner/manager, Mr. Lou Villegas, and was greatly pleased at the time he spent walking me through the problem and what it would take to repair it. I would highly recommend their services.
