10 Craft Ideas To Do With Charizard Coloring Pages

Here are 10 affordable, fun, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!

10. Gallery Wall

Charizard would make an adorable character for a nursery, toddler, or even grade school-age kid’s room, so why not color in three or four and make a gallery wall?

You can print off the pictures you want to use onto cardstock for a sturdier, nicer page and then shade him in using colored pencils or markers.

Then buy inexpensive frames from the dollar store or Walmart, put the pictures inside, and hang them side by side or two by two.

9. Paper Dolls

You can make adorable Charizard paper dolls – or play props if you have a child who resists the idea of playing with dolls! – with my illustrations.

You’ll just print the figures you want to use onto white cardstock and have your kid color them in and cut them out.

You can leave them as-is or attach crafting sticks to the backs with glue for a handle.

8. Greeting Card Embellishments

If you’re heading to a child’s birthday and you forgot to get a card or don’t want to spend upwards of five dollars on one, you can use my Charizard pictures to make one.

Simply fold a piece of cardstock in half and set it aside.

Then you’ll print out the Charizard you want to use, color it, and cut it out.

You can then paste it to the front of the card and add any other illustrations, stickers, or embellishments.

7. Party Invitations

To make a party invitation featuring my Charizard pictures, you need to copy and paste the entire illustration into a word processor document.

Imagine the page broken up into four quadrants and place the picture in the upper-left quadrant – upside down.

You can also add the party details in the lower-right quadrant if you want (or you can write it in manually later).

Print that off; now you will fold the page in half (short end to short end), then again. The picture should be on the front and the details on the inside.

6. Party Decorations

For your next Pokemon + Charizard-themed party, don’t spend huge money on decorations – you can use my illustrations inexpensively (and quite conveniently, I might add!).

For example, you could color in and cut out different Charizard figures and then prop them up by gluing toilet paper rolls to the backs.

You could also cut them out and use them as place settings or food signs to let the guests know what each food item is (especially if you have clever, on-theme names for it!).

5. Mini Storybooks

One of the great things about Charizard is how expressive he is, and one of the great things about my illustrations is how detailed they are.

You can encourage your kids to create a mini Charizard storybook, where they color in three or four pictures and then also write down what’s happening.

Brainstorm ahead of time together, and I bet you could come up with a cohesive story about where Charizard is, what he’s doing, why he’s doing it, etc.

4. Decals/Stickers

For this craft, you will need a Cricut or machine like it and sticker paper or vinyl (if you want to go the decal route).

You’ll digitally color in my Charizard figures and print them out onto the sticker paper.

Then, using the Print and Cut feature on the Cricut, you can feed the paper into the machine and let it do its thing.

Once it’s done, you have stickers or decals you can slap anywhere – on your laptop, water bottle, or even your car.

3. Masks

To make Charizard masks, you’ll need to use a picture where his face is prominent and head-on.

Print it out onto orange cardstock and cut out Charizard’s head, then refine that cut-out by cutting just under his cheeks and nose.

Poke two holes into either side of Charizard’s half-face and tie off pieces of string through the holes.

2. Pokeball Paper Plate Crafts

For this craft, you’ll need two paper plates each and pieces of white and black cardstock.

First, you’re going to make the front of the Pokeball.

Cut out a circle in black, a smaller circle in white, and then an even smaller circle in black again and paste them all together to create a bull’s eye. Set that aside.

Next, you will cut one of the paper plates in half; on the top half, color in a black band about two inches thick. Color the rest in red.

Then you’re going to paste the bull’s eye to the center of the black band.

Next, you will make one end of the two paper plate pieces overlap; place the second paper plate behind those and secure them all with a round head fastener.

Now, you’ll color in Charizard, cut him out, and paste him to the lower paper plate so that when you open the Pokeball, you see him!

1. Stapled Charizard Puff

To make a cute Charizard stapled puff, you’ll need to print out two copies of the figure you want to use (I recommend a simpler one with fewer nooks and crannies).

Have your kids color in just one of the Charizards, but cut out both. Then they’ll start stapling from the bottom up, just around the edges.

When they’ve got about halfway, they’ll stuff tissues or tissue paper inside to make the figure “puff” up.

They’ll continue stapling around the figure until he’s all closed up.
